Kodaikanal Location:

Kodaikanal is well connected by road via Palani and Batlagundu. The nearest airport is Madurai (120 kms) followed by Coimbatore airport (200 kms) and Trichy International airport (200 Kms) the nearest railway station is Kodairoad (80 Kms) One can avail a cab to reach kodaikanal from any of these places. The Climate:

Kodaikanal enjoys moderate climate throughout the year. The temperature is never too hot nor too cold. Minimum winter temperature drops to 8 degree c and the maximum about 25 degrees during summer. the Average Summer temperature is between 11C to 20C, and winter (Dec-Feb) 8.3C to 17.3C.the rainfall averages about 165 cms a year, mostly during the north-east monsoon from June to September.
